Manta Network's zkDay Paris Comes to Life With Eventflare

When EthCC week takes over Paris, every Web3 team in the city is competing for attention. Manta Network, the blockchain project focused on zero-knowledge technology, wanted more than a side party: a full-day conference of its own, zkDay Paris, with panels, talks, and workshops for around 300 guests.

The brief arrived in May with honest constraints. The team had a starting venue budget of a few thousand euros, a preference for a modern space near the EthCC action, a need for 150 to 300 theatre-style seats, and a long requirements list: stage, AV, projection, Wi-Fi, catering, furniture, sound, lighting, and support for livestreaming and photography. And like most conference-week events, the agenda was still evolving while the venue hunt was on.

Finding a Salon That Could Do It All

Eventflare's team turned the search around fast, presenting a range of Paris options within days: auditorium venues with breakout rooms, spaces with modular lounges that could be reshaped into conference rooms, and even a virtual tour of one of the city's biggest congress venues, each mapped against distance from the main EthCC venue and the realities of the budget.

The winner was Les Salons de l'Aveyron, a flexible Parisian event space that could hold the whole day under one roof: a stage for the panels and talks, room for workshops, and space for guests to eat, network, and circulate between sessions.

With the venue signed, Eventflare coordinated the moving parts that turn a rental into a conference:

  1. A full AV setup for the stage, with background visuals on screen carrying the event's branding
  2. An all-day food plan shaped around the agenda: snacking corners for the flow of the day, a lunch service in the early afternoon, and a dinner service carrying guests into the evening
  3. Livestreaming options scoped for the panels, plus photographer and videographer recommendations sourced through the venue
  4. The small touches that make an event feel owned, down to the venue Wi-Fi renamed after the event itself
  5. Day-of coordination handled directly with the venue team, with Eventflare's manager reachable on WhatsApp for anything urgent

Results and Impact

In July, zkDay Paris ran its full arc at Les Salons de l'Aveyron: a day of zero-knowledge panels, talks, and workshops in the middle of the busiest Web3 week in Europe, delivered with one team coordinating venue, catering, AV, and schedule.

The clearest signal came within weeks. As soon as the Paris event wrapped, the client came straight back to Eventflare with the next mission: finding a venue in Singapore for their event in September, followed by an enquiry for another Paris landmark. One conference-week event had turned into an international, multi-city relationship.

Wrapping Up

Conference weeks are chaotic, budgets are real, and agendas change until the doors open. zkDay Paris shows what a flexible local partner is for: presenting real options fast, matching ambition to budget, and coordinating venue, catering, AV, and streaming into a single day that simply works, in any city the client goes next.
